A session fee of £495 secures your time in the studio, with no obligation to purchase beyond that. Some clients choose to invest only in their session and utilise the £500 print credit, while others create stunning wall displays and spend over £10,000. On average, families invest £1,500 – £3,000 in their custom artwork and digital collections.

When should I book? You can book as early as your second trimester. Your session will be scheduled for one week after your due date, with adjustments if needed. The best time for a newborn photoshoot is within the first 14 days of birth.
Can I still book if my baby is older than 14 days? Absolutely! While the first 14 days are ideal—when babies are sleepier, curl up easily, and require fewer feeds—older newborns can still have a beautiful session. Just note that they may be more alert, and some poses might not be possible.
What happens after the photoshoot? You’ll be invited to a personalised viewing session where we’ll showcase your photos on the big screen and help you choose your artwork.
Can I bring my baby’s grandparents? Of course! These moments are precious, and we welcome all family members who wish to be involved.
Can I book after my baby is born? Yes, but availability may be limited. It’s best to get in touch as soon as possible to secure your spot.
Can I bring my own props? Yes! If you have special items you’d like included in the session, feel free to bring them along.
What can I expect from the session? I create a calm and relaxing environment for both baby and family. You’ll be able to watch me work with your little one throughout the session. I provide complimentary snacks and drinks, and you’ll even have access to Netflix so you can unwind while waiting.
How long does a newborn session last? A typical newborn session lasts between 2 to 4 hours. This allows plenty of time for feeding, settling, and capturing a variety of poses without rushing.
What should my baby wear to the session? Your baby will mainly be wrapped or posed in carefully selected outfits, so there's no need to bring special clothing. However, if you have a sentimental outfit, feel free to bring it along.
What should parents and siblings wear? Neutral, soft, and timeless colours (like whites, greys, beiges, or pastels) photograph beautifully. Avoid bold patterns and logos for a more classic look. If you'd like guidance, I can help with outfit suggestions before your session.
Do you provide outfits and wraps for the baby? Yes! I have a curated collection of high-quality wraps, outfits, and accessories to style your baby beautifully. Everything is provided to make your experience stress-free.
Can siblings be included in the session? Absolutely! I encourage sibling and family portraits as part of your newborn session. If young siblings are involved, we typically photograph them at the beginning to keep them engaged.
Do you offer payment plans? Yes, I offer flexible payment plans to make it easier to invest in capturing these special moments. Let me know if you'd like to discuss options.
What if my baby doesn’t settle during the session? I have years of experience in soothing and working with newborns, so please don’t worry! If needed, we allow time for feeding and cuddles to keep your baby comfortable and relaxed.
Do you retouch the photos? Yes, all final images are professionally edited to enhance skin tones and remove minor imperfections while keeping the photos natural and timeless.
Can I purchase additional images? Yes, absolutely! Your session includes a set number of digital images, but you’ll have the option to purchase additional photos, prints, and wall art during your viewing session.
Where does the session take place? All newborn sessions take place in my cosy, fully equipped photography studio in Wednesbury, near Birmingham. It’s designed to be a warm and welcoming space for you and your baby.
Do you offer gift vouchers? Yes! A newborn photoshoot makes a wonderful and thoughtful gift for expecting parents. Gift vouchers are available in various amounts or for full sessions.
